ABOUT South Kesteven District Council COVID-19 Crisis Fund
We have already seen an incredible community response to the crisis caused by COVID-19, and to help maintain this for the long-term South Kesteven District Council has teamed up with the Lincolnshire Community Foundation to help our most vulnerable, isolated and disadvantaged residents.
We are launching this appeal to support local charities and community organisations in delivering essential services.
The residents of South Kesteven have shown how generous they are in times of crisis and we are appealing for your help to achieve the best possible response.
The money we raise through the South Kesteven District Council Covid-19 Crisis Fund will go directly to frontline voluntary and community groups working tirelessly to ensure that those most in need have access to what they require to stay safe and well and supported.
The type of things your donation will help with include:
Access to food and medicine: Delivering emergency food parcels, helping isolating residents get their shopping, bringing hot meals to the elderly or ensuring prescriptions and vital medication are collected or delivered for those with South Kesteven who need it
Wellbeing: Offering advice and support for those unable to leave their homes, with access befriending/buddy schemes via the telephone
Support: For families on low or reduced income; help with retraining or career advice
Much more: Support services for vulnerable residents impacted by Covid-19
Please give what you can. Your donations will make a huge difference to the lives of the most vulnerable in South Kesteven.
