The purpose of the Trust is to raise Funds by us as Trustees, and by our successors in office, as such Trustees for the purpose of providing, or assisting in ~he provision of, facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation, of children and young'persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by the provision of holidays or outings with the objects of educating and assisting them to develop their physical, mental and spiritual welfare or such other charitable) , purpose (in the sense in which that expression is used in the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988) as we in our uncontrolled discretion shall from time to time think fit. DeC1aring that without prejudice to the foregoing generality we, as Trustees, may in our uncontrolled discretion make donations and transfers to any Organisation, Trust, Body or Foundation having charitable status to be applied by such Organisation, Trust, Body or Foundation in accordance with its purposes.
