Anj is raising money for Made With Hope

From January- March 2020, I will be travelling to Tanzania to volunteer with a small UK registered charity called Made with Hope, which supports disadvantaged children in rural Tanzania to access quality education.

Made with Hope works in very rural communities in Arusha where there is no electricity, clean drinking water, public transport and most households are living in extreme poverty. By giving my time and raising awareness, I hope to be able to contribute towards improving access to education for these Tanzanian communities and support Made with Hope's mission of transforming disadvantaged children's lives.

Some of the activities I will be involved in whilst in Arusha include supporting ongoing projects and identifying new projects, improving community engagement, running health/education workshops and assisting in schools.

On a more personal note, my mum was born and grew up in Tanzania so it has always been a country that I have wanted to visit, and this is a cause I have wanted to contribute towards for many years. I hope to educate myself on the challenges and issues these Tanzanian communities are facing and empower them to improve their future.

Any money that you are able to donate will go directly into funding Made with Hope's projects and will ultimately have a profound impact on the Tanzanian children.
