HFW is raising money for Fight For Peace International

A team from the London office of international law firm HFW have signed up for this challenge to raise money and visibility for the firm's global charity partner, Fight for Peace, by (quite literally) taking to the hills, we are doing something that some of the people we are raising funds for can only dream of. So, when the going gets tough out there, we'll know that we have nothing to complain about!

The HFW team comprises Claire Womersley, Guy Main, Matt Dow, Will Gidman, Thomas Dickson, Kirsten Wright, Matt Tozzi, Kate Jacques and Ali Kielany.

We intend to walk (or crawl....) over 31 miles of the Lake District's finest scenery including ascending Bow Fell, Esk Pike, Great End, Broad Crag, I'll Crag, Scafell Pike (the highest mountain in England), Great Gable, Green Gabe and Base Brown (and that's just day one!) A quick stopover in Ambleside youth hostel on Saturday night will set us up for an early rise and the next 12 hours walking, ascending Red Screes, Dove Crag, Hart Crag, Fairfield, Seat Sandal, Dollywaggon Pike, Nethermost Pike, Helvellyn, Lower Man, Brown Cove Crags, Whiteside, Riase, Stybarrow Dodd, Watson's Dodd and finally Great Dodd before descending to rapturous applause late on Sunday evening.

If any of you have seen us in the Habit on a Friday night, you'll wonder how we are going to make it... (if you have any idea, please tell us!)
