As a Trustee of Bridge Wellness Gardens CIO I know how important a role the charity plays in the local community. As the role of the charity grows it finds itself in need of ever more resources-in particular an improved kitchen so that it can continue to help educate the local community about the importance of cooking meals for their families using fresh ingredients. At a time when food poverty is an all too frequent issue for families- BWG needs our help. 11 colleagues from Knights Chester will be aiming to complete the 3 peaks 24 Hr challenge in June and we need your support! We are a charity based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, donors, fundraisers and our volunteers we provide a therapeutic and caring environment for those with lifelong learning disabilities and mental health issues. Training and life skills are offered to children and young people struggling to thrive in a standard academic environment within our outdoor study facilities. Ongoing guidance, support and work experience is also available to those who are currently unemployed.
